Plavix is an antiplatelet agent , which specifically and selectively inhibits thrombocyte aggregation and exerts coronary dilating effects. The drug irreversibly binds to ADP-thrombocyte receptors, which remain inactive for their whole life cycle. The drug should be used only under supervision of a health care provider.
