Levothyroxin sodium is a synthetic hormone of thyroid gland, laevagyratory isomer of thyroxine (T4); medication that replenishes the deficiency of thyroid hormones. The action of levothyroxine is similar to the action of natural thyroid hormone – levothyroxine (T4).
