Sildenafil citrate is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5. By inhibiting this enzyme in the cavernous body, sildenafil relaxes blood vessels and contributes to blood inflow into the penile tissue. This ultimately causes strong erection sufficient to perform sexual intercourse. Sildenafil professional is manufactured in the form of sunlingulal tablets that can be dissolved under the tongue.

Cautions and restrictions:

• History of heart attacks, strokes or congestive heart failure within the last 6 months
• Severe liver diseases

• Priapism
• Anatomical deformation of the penis (angulation, Peyronie's disease, or cavernosal fibrosis)
• Retinitis pigmentosa or other vision disorder like anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
• High blood pressure
• Low blood pressure
• Concomitant application with Nitrates
